Warranty Information

Atlantis shower systems are second to none when it comes to performance and durability.

While different warranties apply to specific products, Atlantis Bathroom Style Ltd warrants that products or system components manufactured and distributed by the company.

  • Meet or exceed the standard requirements of the Building Code of New Zealand; and
  • Will be free from inherent defects and workmanship for the extended warranty period applicable to the Product.

Leak-free Warranty

As added assurance all tile-over shower bases (Linea Quattro and EasyTile) supplied by Atlantis are warranted against water leakage into the building structure for 25 years. EasyNiche (tiled soap shelf) are warranted against water leakage into the building structure for 25 years.

Installation Warranty

Atlantis does not install product, however we recommend using a Recommended Installer.

Recommended installers are typically trained by Atlantis regularly. Installers should offer their own workmanship warranty. Atlantis does not guarantee any installers workmanship. Installers act independently of Atlantis.

Durability Warranty

Ebony & Ivory and Black Pearl (non-tiled) shower bases and Acrylic Walls are warranted for durability and against water leakage for 7 years.
Quub (non-tiled) shower bases are warranted against water leakage in the building structure for 25 years.  Surface warranty – 7 years.
Acrylic Liner and Ellure tile look walls are warranted for durability against water leakage for 7 years.
EasyNiche (retrofit and exposed) are warranted against water leakage into the building structure for 7 years.
Recessed Towel Warmer box and rails are warranted for 7 years (electrical component 12 months).
Aura Shelf is warranted for 7 years.
Ebony & Ivory Collection Products (excluding electrical components in Purelite Mirror) are warranted for 5 years.
Toughened Glass Screens & CristalVision (when applied) is warranted for 5 years**.
EasyChannel (pre-cast channel drain) is warranted for durability for 25 years.
Architectural Finishes are warranted for 2 years.
Stainless Steel/Brass Hardware are warranted for 5 years.
Electrical Components are warranted for 12 months.

When the shower components are installed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, Atlantis Bathroom Style Ltd warrants that the shower base will not allow water leakage* into the building structure for the minimum period as stated above. Atlantis supplies a frameless shower system, it is accepted that this is not a sealed unit. Surface splashes from around the frameless screens are deemed normal. *water leakage excludes surface splashes.

 

**Glass Warranty

  • Warranty is on glass that has been fully installed in accordance with manufacturers instructions.
  • Warranty does not cover breakages during installation.
  • Warranty does not cover installation, only resupply of glass products.
  • Some visible defects are inherent in the glass manufacturing process and various manufacturers have slightly differing final quality standards. However, AS/NZS 4667:2000 “Quality requirements for cut to size and process glass” sets the guidelines for acceptable glass quality and methods to view and assess the defects.
  • The glass used in Atlantis showers is toughened glass and has been tested to meet the ASNZS 2208 Safety Standard and compliant with NZS 4223.3 2016 Safety Standard. All Atlantis Shower Systems have the safety standard permanently etched on the (face) glass panels, in accordance with the NZ Building Code.

 

CristalVision Warranty

The basic maintenance is that the glass is cleaned on a regular basis to a clean and clear state. We give recommendations on how to do this in the Product Care section.

Glass that is not maintained will become dirty in appearance, and may have a mineral buildup on the surface. This is not a warranty issue. What we warrant is the CristalVision easy clean surface, not that your glass will be clean forever with zero maintenance – easy clean, not NO clean…..

The “as needed” use of CristalCote Cleaner & Protector is part of the care process. The more regularly the glass is dried, the less these will need to be used.

Atlantis has no control over the quality of your water supply and we can not be expected to have knowledge of the mineral content of your water supply. We also have no control over how you choose to take care of the surface.

Our care recommendations are based on average “town supply” water quality, this will suit almost all of our customers.

If marking is noticed on the surface that is not being removed with the standard care regime, in almost all cases it is fixed with of a slight change in the care process, sometimes this is with a different cleaning pad, sometimes more or less or an alternative detergent. When mineral staining is left on the surface for an extended period of time the minerals will dry out and become harder to remove, usually, in most areas, we find if we are cleaned correctly within 3 months their removal is very easy and has no long term damage to the surface, once the minerals have been allowed to be on the surface for an extended period of time it starts to build up on top of itself and become very dry. The only way to remove this may damage the top layer of the CristalCote coating.

Regular cleaning is the best way to ensure crystal clear glass.  Removal of surface marking, or damage to the surface from this marking is not covered by the Warranty.
